Ingredients
- Pasta (Spaghetti) - 1 pkt
 - Water - 5 liters (or) 25 cups of water (or) as suggested in the pack.
 - Salt - 4 to 5 tsp
 - Vegetable oil - 2 to 3 tbsp
 
- Large saucepan
 - Pair of tongs
 - Colander / Strainer
 - Pot handler / Pincer
 
- Bring water to boil add salt & oil.
 - Use an appropriate pot / larger pot / larger saucepan to cook pasta.
 - Add pasta now & cook for approx 10 to 11 min stirring occasionally in order to prevent pasta from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
 - Check out the packet for suggested cooking time.
 - Pull out a piece of pasta with a pair of tongs & taste it.
 - If its chewy yet firm in the center then its ready; referred to as al dente.
 - Empty the entire pot of pasta into a strainer/colander.
 - Drain & toss in 2 to 3 tsp of olive oil; do not rinse it in cold water.
 - Now the pasta is ready to get cooked in to your favorite dish!
 
- Cooking time varies with each type of pasta; refer pack for details.
 - Never leave the pasta sit in hot water as it will continue to cook.
 - Reserve little amount of drained water from the cooked pasta as it can be used in diluting any thick sauce or in tossing & stirring together the cooked pasta on high heat with any sauce of your choice; this prevents the fats from being fried for too long.
