Ingredients
- Cucumber - 1 medium sized
- Thick fresh yogurt - 1 cup
- Cilantro (chopped) - 2 tbsp
- Cumin powder (roasted & powdered) - 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar (optional) - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Wash, peel, grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess water.
- Mix together yogurt, cilantro, roasted cumin powder, red chilly powder and salt.
- Add the grated cucumbers just before serving.
- Serve either chilled or at room temperature.
- Can also use chopped green chillies instead of red chilly powder.
