Sweet n Salt Lassi

Prep Time: 10 min
Serves: 2

Ingredients
  1. Thick yogurt (non sour) - 1 cup
  2. Water - 1 cup
  3. Black salt - 1/2 tsp
  4. Sugar (powdered) - 1 tsp
  5. Kashmiri red chilly powder - a pinch
  6. Asafoetida powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Lemon juice - juice of half lemon
  8. Cilantro (roughly torn) - 2 tsp
  9. Curry leaves (roughly torn) - 5 to 7
  10. Salt - 1/4 tsp (or) to taste
For garnishing
  1. Cilantro (chopped) - few
Method
  1. Churn curd along with the above mentioned ingredients except water for about a min in a mixie/blender.
  2. Add water, stir well & strain.
  3. Adjust ingredients according to taste.
  4. Pour in to serving glasses; garnish with chopped cilantro.
  5. Serve either at room temperature or chilled.
NOTE
  • If you are using sour curd simply skip the lemon juice.
  • Can also add roasted jeera powder for extra flavor.
