Waldorf Salad ~ My Version!

Other name - Apple Salad

Prep Time: 20 min
Serves: 2


Ingredients
  1. Granny smith apple / green apple - 1
  2. Delicious red apple - 1
  3. Egg-less diet veg Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
  4. Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp
  5. Grated lemon zest - of one full lemon
  6. Lemon juice - juice of half zested lemon
  7. Salt - 1/4 tsp
  8. Raisins - 2 tbsp
  9. Walnuts - 1 tbsp
Method
  1. Wash apples; core & cut in to 1/2 inch cubes.
  2. Whisk mayonnaise, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Now add the cubed apples, raisins, walnuts & gently fold in the mixture.
  4. Serve either chilled or at room temperature.
NOTE
  1. Always add the salad dressing just before serving.
  2. Can also add heavy whipped cream if desired.
