Vathakuzhambhu Podi

Storage - Stock
Grinding Equipment - Dry grinding mixie jar - Small jar

If preferred a hot recipe, then follow this;
Ingredients
  1. Dhania powder - 1 cup
  2. Red chilly powder - 4 cups
  3. Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 cup
  4. Mustard seeds - 1/4 cup
Method
  1. Wash mixie jar & wipe until no traces of water; place it under the fan to dry immediately.
  2. Dry roast fenugreek seeds in low flame stir frying carefully and patiently until they turn golden brown & start to splutter.
  3. Similarly dry roast the mustard seeds; set aside & allow to cool.
  4. Grind both to a fine powder in the mixie.
  5. Mix all ingredients together.
  6. Store in a dry air tight food grade plastic containers / Tupperware for further use.
If preferred a medium hot recipe, then follow this
Ingredients
  1. Dhania powder - 2 cups
  2. Red chilly powder - 3 cups
  3. Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 cup
  4. Mustard seeds - 1/4 cup
Method
  1. Same as mentioned above.
NOTE
  • Always use a dry spoon.
