How to store Gooseberries?

Ingredients
  1. Gooseberries - 8 to 10
  2. Water - 2 cups
  3. Salt - 2 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder - pinch
Method
  1. Wash gooseberries & pat dry.
  2. Boil water with salt & turmeric powder.
  3. Switch off gas, add the gooseberries and close with lid.
  4. Leave it undisturbed at room temperature for 48 hrs.
  5. Store either in food grade plastic container or glass bottle.
  6. Refrigerate for further use.
NOTE
  • Can use the gooseberries to prepare instant curd pachadis.
